About Legacy Capital Planners
Co-Founder & Financial Coach
Originally from Montgomery County, Todd grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. He prides himself on being a well-known and respected advisor in the Washington, D.C., area and, since entering the financial services industry in 1999, continues to be dedicated to giving retirees valuable advice for their futures.
Now a financial advisor, Todd started his career at John Hancock Financial Services in McLean, Virginia, helping clients protect themselves against the high cost of long-term care. He then moved to New York Life, where he was trained on portfolio and asset management. From these experiences, Todd created a business philosophy he instills in his clients: Keep things simple, protect your income and do not take large draw downs on your investment dollars.
Specializing in investment management, retirement income planning, estate planning, long-term care and tax planning, Todd has been featured on Frederick News Post and is a member of the National Ethics Association. He received his Bachelor of Science in business from Widener University in Chester, Pennsylvania. Todd is a Series 65 Investment Advisor Representative and holds his life and health Insurance license in Washington, D.C., Maryland, Virginia, North Carolina and Florida.
In his spare time, he enjoys camping, cooking, fishing, golfing and coaching his sons’ little league teams. Todd and his wife, Danielle, live in Adamstown, Maryland, with their three children, Gavin, Landon and Payton, and their dog, Ryleigh.
